Make sure they were legally compliant with the right processes in place to reduce the time taken managing HR processes and queries so they can focus on remaining at the forefront of their evolving industry.

There had never been a need to worry too much about the formal documentation, but they knew they still needed to do it. As an energetic, dynamic and creative team, they didn’t want to get bogged down in rules and process and lose their culture and identity.

HOW WE HELPED

We started off by updating employee contracts and created a bespoke handbook in their tone of voice to reinforce their unique culture. We supported both the Managing Director and the team with the roll out to develop clear expectations and lay the groundwork for positive people practices.

Following the implementation, we continue to provide ad hoc support, on demand, to support everyone with questions relating to policies and process. As an embedded HR partner, we created and support the performance review process, so that every team member has a great feedback conversation and a tangible development plan.

We also take care of the many other HR admin tasks, to leave the Managing Director to get on with what he does best, whilst providing feedback and suggestions so that we can support the business to grow. 

THE RESULTS

The business now has all their documentation in place and a handbook that clearly sets out their unique culture and standards. They have developmental processes and improved communication between management and the team.
