Lisson Gallery: Highly influential contemporary art gallery, supporting and promoting the work of more than 70 international artists across spaces in London, New York, Los Angeles, Shanghai and Beijing.

To create and deliver training to develop consistent management responsibilities, expectations and skills at all levels, across international boundaries and time zones.

HOW WE HELPED

We designed a bespoke manager training program, tailored to their specific manager population, delivering the key messages the Executive team wanted to reinforce, making the training relevant to the business and its objectives. 

The training was carefully designed to cater to both newcomers with little to no prior experience as well as seasoned managers to remind and refresh their skills. We developed a series of four workshops, starting with a foundational session to set the stage and ensure everyone shared a clear, aligned understanding of what it truly means to be a manager. 

Each workshop was created with an emphasis on action! Group discussion, sharing of experiences and practical tools were delivered so that every delegate left the sessions able to apply their learning straight away. 

The series ran over three months, with each workshop being delivered three times to mix up the groups and bring different voices together as well as ensuring convenience for the managers and options for those in different locations. 

THE RESULTS

The training program has provided a consistent approach and language in relation to management across the business giving the Executive team confidence in delivery of messages and expectations that are relevant to their objectives and culture.

The sessions have given managers confidence in their ability to deliver excellent management, in their own personal and authentic style while developing an understanding their management responsibilities and giving them effective tools to maximise their success.

The program has created a community of managers across functions and borders who can work together and help each other deliver success through their teams, sharing best practice and support.
